Helping busy mums train strong, not for aesthetics, for energy, confidence, and longevity
About me
From a young age, I recognised that movement wasn’t just something I did, it was how I felt my best, helped me function. It’s never been about aesthetics, movement has always been about longevity, staying strong, capable, and connected to my body for the long run.
I grew up as a competitive club swimmer from the age of 8, which naturally evolved into a love of endurance sports like triathlon, long-distance swimming, and running. The process of training, the focus, structure, and rhythm of it, gives me clarity and calm. But over time, I realised it was strength training was the foundation of everything, it truly kept me doing what I loved: helping me stay injury-free, balanced, and resilient through every chapter of life. Whether that be training for an event, staying strong and pain-free through two pregnancies and slowly rehab-ing my body back to strength after each birth.
Now as a mum of two, that belief has only deepened. Strength training has carried me through two pregnancies, postnatal recovery, returning to running, Ironman races, an 80km ultramarathon, and 14km marathon swims. It’s become less about performance and more about preserving energy, health, and happiness, being strong enough to do the things I love, and to show up fully in life.
Today, my passion is about helping other women discover that too, that movement isn’t punishment, perfection or aesthetics, but a way to build strength for life.
Events Completed:
The events below reflect not just performance, but the journey behind it. Completing them post-children has required a different level of discipline, adaptability, and resilience, balancing training alongside the demands of family life and work. It’s a reminder that progress doesn’t have to stop; it simply evolves with you.
